Crossroads helped me adopt my son 26 years ago. The Crossroads staff is wonderful in what they do. As the climate in adoption has changed over the last several years, Crossroads has changed with it. They are very flexible and change and adapt with each new situation.

Minnesota and Wisconsin Families:

Crossroads is licensed by the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.  The Minnesota office and the Wisconsin office provide the same services – free adoption information meetings, education, home studies, domestic and international placements, post-placement services, and support during this wonderful and exciting process.

Prospective applicants who wish to visit in person are invited to an informational meeting held monthly at the Crossroads offices.  The dates and times of these sessions are listed under the Events section of this website.  At this meeting, information about the agency and its services and program options is presented. Families are given the opportunity to ask questions. Written information covering the same material is given to families at this meeting or upon request by mail.

Families who cannot attend the monthly informational meeting are welcome to schedule an individual appointment during business hours. Call 952-831-5707 or e-mail jill@crossroadsadoption.com for more information, to register for a group informational meeting, or to set up a personal informational meeting.

Residents of Other States:

Crossroads Wisconsin office serves families who reside in states other than Minnesota and the Western half of Wisconsin. Families are required to have an approved home study prepared by an agency which is licensed in their state of residence. Crossroads will work closely with both the adoptive family and the home study agency to ensure the smoothest adoption possible.

Adoptive parents are required to have a current passport. Crossroads will assist adoptive parents with the paperwork needed for an international adoption. At present, Crossroads can assist with adoptions in the following countries:  China, Colombia, Philippines (depending on your state of residence), Thailand and Ukraine.
